My brother is coming back! Back from a land of sand and torment that goes by the name of Iraq; returning from his second tour. I remember how heavy my heart was when he left this last time… the risks… a reminder that my little brother is now as he was then.. a man. It’s a lot to swallow for an older sibling (perhaps even more so for my father and mother) that we couldn’t protect him from the situation. Not this time. I know my sister-in-law, his wife, has had it rough this last few years and she has definitely been a “trooper”. I’m truly happy that my brother has found such a loving woman and overjoyed that he’ll be back in the states with all of us. I also hope that he enjoys being an uncle, I know our daughter is going to love him.
I guess the short of it is that my brother is home, he served his country, we’re proud of him for it and most importantly is that he’s safe.Â
Not to end the post abruptly, but that’s all I really want to put down.

I applaud you and have great and deep respect for you, what you have done for our country goes beyond any words that can be said.
You are a man that deserves to be applauded and thanked when you are in the public, because there very few people that would put themselves in harms way to help other as you and your fellow soldiers have done.
Jamie I am deeply sadened to find out that your wife is such a shallow person and only thinks of herself and does’nt stand by while you where away in Irag keeping us safe, Shame on her for being shallow and self centered. Jamie please stand proud, for you did nothing wrong in your relationship with your wife. Rest assured that God will bring someone into your life that will make all your dreams come true.
